Polish Office in Taipei

From December 9 to 14, a delegation of representatives from the Polish Sejm and Senate visited Taiwan.

The Taiwan Design Week (TDW) event, held from December 7–15, 2024, showcased representatives of Polish design. For the first time in its history, TDW had a national partner, and that partner was Poland.

On December 12, 2024, Polish Office in Taipei organized a gala attended by delegates from the Sejm, Senate, Ministry of Development and Technology, Polish Centre for Accreditation, and Polish Investment and Trade Agency.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the enthusiastic audiences who filled the venues to capacity during the performances of the Polish-American jazz quartet, led by the captivating Anna Maria Jopek. Accompanied by renowned Polish musicians, trumpeter Piotr Wojtasik and bassist Adam Kowalewski, the concerts featured extraordinary collaborations with pianists Matthew Fullen and Bobby West—an American jazz legend.

On November 16, 2024, music enthusiasts had the opportunity for the fifth time to hear the works of Fryderyk Chopin performed by Kamil Tokarski, a Polish pianist residing in Taiwan.

On November 15th in Taipei, the Polish-Taiwanese Chamber of Industry and Commerce (PTIPH) and the Taiwanese Excellence Drone Alliance (TEDIBOA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding establishing cooperation in the drones industry.

The 2024 Taiwan-Poland Higher Education Forum, co-organized by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, FICHET, the Polish Academy of Sciences, and the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland, took place on November 5, 2024, at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST). Representatives from 24 Taiwanese universities and five Polish educational institutions gathered to expand academic and research cooperation.

On October 18, Polish Office in Taipei, in collaboration with Taiwan Information Environment Research Center (IORG), organized the Civil Society Experts Forum panel discussion.

From September 4th to 5th, 2024, on the occasion of SEMICON Taiwan 2024, one of the largest semiconductor industry events in the world, a delegation led by the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Digital Affairs, Rafał Rosiński, visited Taiwan.
