Polish Office in Taipei

Polish Office in Taipei participated in one of the most popular travel fairs in Asia - "International Travel Fair" - organised in Taipei on 5-8 November 2021. The stand of the Polish Office in Taipei was visited by several hundred people, including the President of Taiwan Tsai Ing-wen.

The second outdoor recital of Frédéric Chopin’s masterpieces, performed by Dr. Kamil Tokarski on the occasion of the Polish Independence Day, ended with a standing ovation. The recital was organised by the Polish Office in Taipei in cooperation with the Taipei City Government.

As a gesture of solidarity in the face of vaccine shortages and risks posed by new coronavirus variants, Poland will hand over 400,000 AstraZeneca vaccine doses to Taiwan. This makes Poland Taiwan’s third largest vaccine donor, after the US and Japan.

The charging fees issues for educational services by public universities are regulated in the Act of 20 July 2018, Law on Higher Education and Science, and in the case of non-public universities, they result from the internal regulations of these universities.

The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange NAWA has launched a new platform, “Research in Poland”.

On May 6, we Polish Office in Taipei had a pleasure to host representatives of the Taiwanese administration, the diplomatic corps and selected representatives of business, media, NGOs, the world of science and art, and the Polish community at the national reception on the occasion of the 3rd May Constitution Day.

Residents of Taipei learnt about culture and cuisine of European countries at the 2021 Europe Festival.

On April 30 in Sandimen, Bartosz Ryś, the Acting Head of the Polish Office in Taipei, and Cemelesai Ljaljege'an, the Head of the Indigenous Sandimen Township, opened the exhibition entitled "Polish Children’s Rights".
