Polish National Pavilion at Semicon 2024

From September 4th to 5th, 2024, on the occasion of SEMICON Taiwan 2024, one of the largest semiconductor industry events in the world, a delegation led by the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Digital Affairs, Rafał Rosiński, visited Taiwan.

The delegation also included representatives from the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), including the its President, Andrzej Dycha. The delegation was also accompanied by a group of Polish companies from the semiconductor industry. On September 4th, the Polish Pavilion at SEMICON was officially opened, hosting nine companies this year, such as: AIUT, Ensemble3, Fluence Technology, Insoptics, Instytut Fotonowy, QNA Technology, Saule Technologies, VIGO Photonics, and XTPL. The opening ceremony was also attended by SEMI President Ajit Manocha, SEMI Taiwan President and CMO Terry Tsao.

As part of SEMICON 2024, in collaboration with Ministry of Economic Affairs, SEMI, Taiwania Capital, TeaLa, and Invest Taiwan, PAIH organized the promotional event Poland – Taiwan Business Forum: Poland Supply Chain and a hub of talents for semiconductors. During the event,  Memoranda of Understanding was signed between PAIH and TAITRA, as well as between Semicon Supply Poland and TeaLa.

The visit of the Polish delegation to the was preceded by the organization of the 20th Poland – Taiwan Joint Business Council Meeting in Taipei, hosted by the Polish Chamber of Commerce (KIG) and the Chinese International Economic Cooperation Association (CIECA), partnered by PAIH, SEMI, Ministry of Economic Affairs, and AI on Chip Taiwan Alliance (AITA). The event focused on industrial parks, special economic zones, and the semiconductor supply chain.
