Polish Office in Taipei

The reception took place at the Regent Hotel in Taipei and was attended by over 200 invited guests. The participants represented official Taiwanese institutions, diplomatic missions and foreign representations, companies and financial institutions, educational and cultural organizations and the Polish community in Taiwan. The reception opened with a performance by the Taipei Philharmonic Choir and official speeches. The event was also enriched by performances of a couple that presented Polish folk dances in original regional costumes, video materials showing Polish monuments and landscapes, and a film presentation of Polish and Taiwanese works previously awarded in international competitions by Polish photographer Marcin Ryczek who was present at the event. The guests were served Polish dishes. The celebration was also an opportunity to promote products imported from Poland. All reception participants received materials promoting tourism in Poland and Polish confectionery products imported to Taiwan.
