Discovering Chopin: concert on the 210th anniversary of the birth of Frederic Chopin

The audience had a rare opportunity to listen to compositions of Frederic Chopin performed by Polish artist dr. Kamil Tokarski.
The concert commemorating the 210th anniversary of the birth of the great composer was held on May 8th at Eslite Performance Hall. The audience enjoyed 11 compositions accompanied by a spoken commentary of Mrs. Anna Majchrzak regarding the life and work of Fryderyk Chopin..
Professor Anna Azusa Fujita, the president of the Frederic Chopin Foundation in Taipei, was present in the audience. Madame Fujita received the Bene Merito badge in 2013 for her merits in promoting Polish culture abroad and strengthening position of Poland in the international arena.
