Polish Office in Taipei

On May 9, 2024, Polish Office in Taipei organized a piano recital of Kamil Tokarski at the Chimei Museum in Tainan. The pianist performed multiple musical pieces by Polish composers, such as: Karol Kurpiński (Polonez in D major), Maria Szymanowska (Nocturne in B flat minor), Tekla Bądarzewska ("The Virgin's Prayer"), Ignacy Jan Paderewski (Legend op. 16 no. 1), Karol Szymanowski (Prelude op. 1 no. 1), and Fryderyk Chopin (Polonez op. 40 no. 1, Polonaise op. 44, Scherzo no. 2 op. 31 and Polonaise "Heroic"). The concert was organized on the occasion of the 233rd anniversary of the Constitution of May 3 and the 20th anniversary of Poland's accession to the European Union.
